Interment took place in Fairfield Memorial Park,Stamford.MRS. WILLIAM P. BROOKSMrs. Mary Dunlop Brooks, 51, of 9 Crane Rd., died on September 1 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. She was the wifeof William P. Brooks.She was a former English teacher at Mather Junior HighSchool.Mrs. Brooks was born February 2, 1922, in Kingston, N.Y., the daughter of John and EthelEN NEWS, Thursday, SeptembHoornbeek Donlop. She graduatedfrom Dana Hall School in 1940 andSmith College, Northampton,Mass. in 1944. She received a Master of Arts Degree in liberal studies from Wesleyan College, Middletown in 1970 and she did post graduate work at Indiana University and the State University College at Plattsburgh, N.Y.Besides her husband, Mrs. Brooks is survived by two sons, Peter Reynolds Brooks of Englewood, N.J., and Stephen Converse Brooks of Darien; two daughters, Miss Marcia P. Brooksof Darien and Mrs. Fred W.
