Cpl. Maravilla to. Go On to Tokyo15th AAF in Italy.—Cpl. Frederick R. Maravilla of 3852 Pennsylvania ave., East Chicago, Ind., will return home soon with the veteran 301st Flying Fortress Bombardment group, o'*2 -f the oldest units in tho European theater of operations.Cpl. Maravilla has served 20 months with the Air Force overseas as an administrative specialist. He is a graduate of the Washington high school and was doing night classes at Indiana university extension wfoen called to arms.He is married and his wife and little daughter live at the Pennsylvania address. Before entering service he was employed at the Inland Steel company.The 301st group returns home after almost thr.e years of active duty in the European and Mediterranean theaters, ready after rest and refitt-ment. to throw its weight into tho war still to be won.For outstanding aerial attacks the group earned two Distinguished Unit citations, and its original members are authorized to wear 12 battle stars on their theater ribbon.
