The cor tec* arrived at the cemetery at 1230 accompanied by fifty Lesion number* after the Lesion aervfce at th* Stave, tape were sounded by Bugler Fred C Donaldson of Center Point The Walker and Urban* Legion members waited till 230 when the funeral of Clifford Dye wa* held at the Christian church in Center Point, the Rev Mr Jone* of Center Point, and the Rev p Pendleton of the First Christian church In Cedar Rapid* i gave the address of the afternoon The church was decorated with the nation » color* and taautlful flowers. The pallbearer* were all bby* who ;j had seen nervier in France. Roth the poet at Walker and Center Point J wen* named for these soldiers who ware laid tn their final resting place. The Walker post is the Ray post.I the Center Point i» Dye Beau on post. The bodies were brought here on Friday momtag accompanied by a soldier. On both caskets was a bou quct and a flag from the Gold Star Mothers’ auxiliary in New York Citysent out with each casket as it leave* for Its final destination . .Dye was the first boy from Wash II sngton township to give up his life in the gryat war At the close of theservice at the church seventy-fivei'soldiers in uniform formed a line to the waiting hearse There was a number of members of the G.
