Crowd at Station When Men Left for SyracuseThe final shipment of draftees under the September calls of Provost Marshal General Crowder left this morning when approximately 2000 11m*ited service men entrained for Syracuse, N V, where they will be trained, sworn In and assigned to duty in various parts of the country.J he train left between 10:30 and 11, in two sections of 10 cars each. There was a more than usually large gathering of relatives and friends to see the men off, hut Sergt Michael Tralnor of Mation 4, with 50 patrolmen and one mounted patrolman, kept the crowd back of the gates.Goodbye were said outside in themain walk, and many of the friends and relatives left before the trains had gone. One girl, determined to say i goodby personally, climbed up the 10-j foot Iron fence separating her from the tracks, and from that vantage point, talked to the draftee on the other side.Included among the draftees were the following: !
