Duncan, El Cerrito, Calif., took a one point lead by firing 99 of 100 points tor an overall total of 397 of 400. .Army M/Sgt. Jack Stevens, High Point, N. C.T posted a 96 today to slip from first place to run-nerup with two others at 396. They are Marine S/Sgt. V. D. Mitchell, Santa Paula. Calif., and Army Sgt. Loyd G. Crow, Carrollton. Miss., the 1935 champion.Defending champion Marlene Bellinger. Seattle, Wash., stretched her lead in the women’s race with 388 of 400 points.
