She was attired in the uniform of the Iowa soldiers, and slated that she belonged to the Second Iowa regiment; that she Lgh- ] enlisted at Pavenport about three months ago, link and camo down over the Hannibal c St. Joseph railroad, stopping on the way to putdown si-cessionists around Lexington. Afterward she proceeded to Cairo with the regiment, where she has sinsc bi*cn doing a soldier’s duty. She stated that she came up from Cairo with two other’* boys, and intended going back.
