Walkers (TexasV company left on j rooming of the iH'q for Fort Stanton and will : be the permanent garrison of the Fort.Fort Stanton is situated in the Sacramento mountains, 140 miles north west of Mesilla.For the present it has been determined that ten of the Confederate companies shall be stationed in this Territory and viciuiiy. The force will be probably iucieased by an additional regiment as soon as thy condition of ouraffairs is undeistood at headquarters.Six companion will bo stationed in Arizona; three at Fort Fillmore, one at Finn Alto, one at Tucson, one at Fort Stanton. The following are the companies: Cap*. Walker’s mounted rifles. Cap!. McAllister’s infantry, Capt. Teel’s artillery, Capt. Coopwood’s spi*?s, Capt. Fra-zieFs rangers and Capt. Muslin's Aiizoua j Cfuards. Capt. Coopwood’s company has *54 men. The other companies, with full ranks, will have 100 men each.Captain Hardeman’s and Capt. Staflord’a companies, with two other companies of the 2d Texas Regiment of Mounted Riflemen, will garrison Fort Bliss.Capt. Fyron’s company, late stationed at Fort Stockton, has arrived at Fort Bliss. Capt. Adam’s company is daily expected at B;iss trotn Fort Lancaster.Major Waller will take command of tne Confederate forces in Arizona on aud after the «*tb instunt.Capt. Walker’s company of tbs 2d Texas Mounted Rifles regiment, arrived at Fort Fill-more this week.
