Croydon, is aboard the USS Long Beach, one of the three nuclear powered Navy ships on a maneuver called “Operation Sea Orbit” whose mission it is to demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s sea strength.Steven Kovalick of 310 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, has graduated from the technical training course for U. S. Air Force jet aircraft mechanics at AmarilloAFB, Tex.Airman Kovalick, who was trained to repair current Air Force jet fighters, is being assigned to an Air Defense Command (ADC) unit at Otis AFB, Mass. His squadron supports the ADC mission of defending the continental U. S. against enemyair attack.He is a graduate of PennsburyI High School.
