LIEUT CHARLES H, FISKE 3DDIE8 OF WOUNDS IN PARISSecond Lieut Charles Henry Fiske 3d, son of Lieut Charles H. Fiske Jr and Mary D. (ThorndilCe) Fiske of 39 Bay State road, died Aug 24 in Paris of wounds received in battle Aug 12. The news was received by his parents yesterday.Lieut Fiske was born Dec 3, 1896, Graduated from the Country Day School in 1914, and in the same year went abroad with his family. For six months he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, attending while there the English Officers' Training Corps.He returned to Boston in 1915 and entered the class of 1919 at Harvard studied with the R. O. T. C. and in the following Spring attended the Platts-burg camp. He went abroad that Summer and served a year in the American Ambulance Service in France and Serbia. He was back again at Harvard in the early part of last Winter, but left in Januaiw to attend the Third Officers' rraining Camp at Camp Upton, N Y. He sailed April 6 as a sergeant In the 308th Infantry, was commissioned second lieutenant in July and was assigned to the 28th Division.
