Lewis at 3:30 p.m.MORE ABOUTFIELD SQUADRONContinued from Pace 1S.S M.’s wife, Mrs. Yolande Dimock. The men also gave gifts to the wives in appreciation for their co-operation in supporting the Mess. Staff Sgt. Cyr commended Lt Col. ackson, W.O.l S.P. Berthelette. S.S.M., W.O.2 Don Dimock, and all past officers and senior N.C.O.’s for their administration and training. A special thanks was also made to CpL M. Maason and Cpl. K. Kahle, who added so much to this dinner, and many other dinners for a number of years, by serving as Stewards.In closing, Sgt. Cyr announced that the Mess was forming an Officer’s and Senior N C.O.’s Association to continue with some social events, in order to keep alive the companionship that has arisen from the unit. As a conclusion everyone joined in the singing of the “Engineer’s Song”The remainder of the weekend included dancing, gamer and swimming. From all reports it was a commemorable event.
