ber 31st, 1967PINE FALLS46th Field SquadronHolds Grand FinaleThe weekend of October 14th and 15th brought to an end the social activities of the Officers and Senior N.C.O's Mess of the 46th Field Squadron of Pine Falls. This unit was placed on Supplementary Order of Battle on September 1st. However, bs the annual regimental dinner had not been held before the closing of the armouries, it was decided to stage a grand finale at Wendigo Resort. Fourteen members and their wives attended for the weekend.Saturday evening was highlighted with a cocktail hour prior to the candlelit regimental dinner Mess President. Staff Sgt. P. Cyr was chairman of the dinner, at which several presentations of honor were made. Among these was the Canadian Decoration Medal, presented by Lt. Col. S. W. Jackson to Capt. R. Halpir., for his long service. As was customary in the unit, silver trays were presented to the Colonel’s wife, Mrs. Mavis Jackson and the Continued on Page 1UJJciiCtlFI
