R, W. Wmterbotnam, iuaaison- *An* interesting talk was given by George R. Fox, who was in charge of one of the Wisconsin archeological surveys during the last summer. The work of the party was .confined .more particularly to the Green. Bay islands and along the Menominee region from Menominee to Marinette. The party also explored the country along the Wolf river from Lake Shawano toLake Foygan.Mr. Fox told of no less than 213 discoveries being made of more or less importance. Of that number there 113 Indian village sites. The party found 26 mound groups and 20 single, mounds- Thirty-one garden beds and corn hills were also discovered.
