'IbE BEST NEWS that they couldpossibly receive has oome to Mr.and Mrs. George Rockwell, 3016 Cornelia Street. Their sons, James ; Glynn Sockwell and George Harle ! Rockwell, are on their way homelrom the war zone. George Harle Rockwell, 20. has been in Koreamore than eighteen months and was wounded twice in battle, the first time on July 18, 1950. James Glynn Sockwell, 36, served three and one-halt years in the South Pacific during World War II and was called back into active service from the Naval Reserve in July, j1950. His wife and four-year-old son, James Glynn, Jr., met him in San Diego, California when the US6 Boxer landed on October 24. Four wives and mothers were in- j terviewed at that time and she was one of the four, a tape recording broadcast of this interview was on the air at 11 p. m. Thursday. James Glynn Sockwell and his family will arrive in Greenville on October 31. Mr. and Mrs. Sockwell were advised wi a telegram from George Harl j Rockwell that he had landed in j Japan and was waiting for the boat ; that wall bring him back to the States, this bout scheduled to arrive around Nevember 1. And eagerly awaiting the arrival of hei brothers ie their little aister, Naomi Socle well, 10, as well as their grandmother, aunts, ancles andinends, all oI whom are thankful that they survived many bat-vtes and can be reunited at their home in Greenville. Both volunteered for service at the age of 17.
