WYOMING'S DAIRY CENTER IN BEAUTIFUL. OCTOBER 28. 1943.THE SPIRIT OF STAR VALLEYAbove is the picture of the new fighter plane. Spirit of Star Valley. as it came off the assembly of the North American Aircraft factory. This plane is the famous P-51, and is rated theworld s best fighter plane.Bond buyers of Star Valley aided by the untiring efforts ofG. A. Newswander and Wardell Clinger are responsible for getting this fighter plane named.We do not know when or where it will be sent, but we arecertain it will materially aid the allied nations to maintain our American Way of Life.Large pictures of the plane can be seen in Gepharts Store in Afton. and the business houses of the lower valley.Mr. A. E. Wilde. Executive Manager of the War Finance Committee of Wyoming has sent a personal letter to Mr. Newswander and Mr. Clinger congratulating them for their work, and also the people of Star Valley who purchased the bonds.
