It embraces many valuable officers «Dd men.Col. John a Davis, 46th III., fell severely wounded early in the action, whi’e gallantly leading bis Regiment in a charge. He has since died ol his wounds. Ho was generous, noble and brave, and will be regretted by allwho knew him.
