Pvt. Nester Marches In Division ParadeWith the Eighth Army in Osaka, Japan — Private Earlen D. Nester, son of Mrs. Mildred M. Banning of 210 South Livingston Street, Brookfield, recently took part in th eighth Anniversary Day parade of the 25th Division at Camp Sakai, where Major General Kean delivered an impressive speech to the 25th Division.He is a member of the 27th infantry Regiment of the famed 25th Infantry (Tropic Lightning) Division, commanded by Major General William B. Kean. The 27th Infantry is stationed at Camp Sakai, near Osaka, Japan and is commanded by Colonel John W, Childs.Joining the Army on July 29th, 1948, he was sent to Fort Knox, Kv. for his basic training. He sailed overseas on ‘November 30, 1948, and joined the 27th Infantry on May 11, 1949.___
