Mills of Ellington AFB, Houston, and Mrs. Emily Mills of Washington, and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Mills, 212 14th Street with whom he makes his home. Also lettered on the Nederland championship football team and took part in many school activities.He and the 30 other students were chosen on the basis on leadership qualities and moral character, an academic standing in military subjects and a standing in the upper one-half of their summer training unit.-Each distinguished cadet is eligible to apply for a commissionin the regular air force.
