Becker, now stationed at Fort Knox, Ky., arrived home in September after spending a year in Korea.He was hospitalized in Akron, with an attack of malaria'during his 30 day furlough.During Stanley’s furlough, hisbrother Ffc. Harold L. Becker, was given a ten-day furlough, prior to being sent to Germany.
