Lieut. White, 29, enlisted in' August, 1940. trained at Brandon and Gordon Head, and Fort Garry, where he received his commission, lie went overseas in July, 1943. In France on D-day, ho was wounded Sept. 6. Lieut. White attended Lord Roberts and Kelvin schools, and prior to his enlistment was employed at the post office. He has one son, Edward.
