Private Ivy E. Forbis, whose wife* Wanda* lives in Picher, Okla.* recently qualified as expert in firing tlie M-l rifle while assigned to the Eleventh Armored Cavalry Regiment’s First Battalion rn Germany.Forbis, a driver in the battalion's Company A in Strahing, entered the army in October 1958, completed basic training at Fort Carson, Colo.* and arrived overseas in August.He is a graduate of Ketchum, Okla.* high school. His father, Harold Forbis, lives there.
