Truesdale, R. F. D, No. 1, vDelphos. The following telegram was received by the parents, Monday morning: Deeply regret to Inform you that It is officially announced that Private Glen Truesdale, Field Artillery died in the sinking of the Ticonderoga on. September 30. Signed, Harris, AdJL General.” Truesdale was 24 years of age, and entered service on July 25 the same day that tb« three Lima boys and one Elida boy left for camp. They were stationed at Camp Jackson, S. CL but sailed from Newport News, September 22. The others from Allen county, whose parents have received official notification of their deaths are* Willis J. Geise, Phillip Tarr, Pirl Selbold, Dan Wil-Bon, all of Lima, and Hallick Stemen, of EUda,Truesdale was bom and raised InesWILLIS J. GKEISE.*WELL KNOWN LIMA BOY WHO WAS ONE OF THE VICTIMS LOSING HIS LIFE ABOARD THE TICONDEROGA.
