Army Specialist Four Gene A. Janes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jones, 176 Parrish St., and oilier'members of the 7Lh Infantry Division participated In Excer-cise OCTOBERFEST, a two-day field training exercise held in Korea.Specialist Jones rec g i v e d training in logistics and in Hie support of advanced combat teams under simulated battleconditions,Jones is assigned as a driver in Company B, of the division's 7th Supply anj Transport Battalion in Korea.The 24-year-old soldier entered the Army in October 1956 and was last stationed at Fort Polk, La.He is a 1955 graduate of Canandaigua High School
