GRADUATESGREAT LAKES, 111. — David M. Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. llar-j ry O. Nichols of Winnebago, Minn.,has been graduated from recruit training at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes. III.The nine weeks of “boot camp” included drill and instruction in seamanship, gunnery, life saving, sea survival, boat handling, and the use of small arms.Following two weeks leave, graduates will be assigned to shipboard duties or service schools depending on the qualifications each has demonstrated.
