From 8 to 10o’clock there wabusy scene at theIs s'.armory as the four companies made preparations for the trip to Chicago. TheClinton, Lyons and Waukon companies were in marching order, but the Greys had much DreDaration to make. At 10much preparation to make, o’clock the soldiers marched down stairsand formed in line on Thirteenth street.Major Brown gave the command “forwardRS, I march,” the words were repeated alongg.ly I the line by the captains and the columnmoved up to Main street, down Main toIf I Seventh and thence to the Chicago GreatWestern depot.
