A Hero Returns To His Home TownTfae casket bearing the remains of Pfc. Daniel J. Haug, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haug of Ferdinand, is shown being removed from the Ferdinand Flyer at 3:30 P. M. Saturday. Father David Duesing, O. S. B., and members of the Ferdinand American Legion and Purple Heart organizations escorted the remains to the Victor Becher Funeral Home. Services were held at 8 A. M. today in St. Ferdinand Church. Private Haug was killed in action on Luzon on April B. 1945. He was not quite 21. (Nicholson Photo)
