After a short stay on the west coast he expects to report to Vaughan hospital by November 1.In his call Dravo also said that Pfc. Harold Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Becker, 622 South 11th avenue, Maywood, had landed with him and would call his parents Tuesday. Becker, who entered the army in February 1941, left for the Philippines in the fall of that year and was taken prisoner at the fall of Corregidor. He is a graduate of Washington school and attended Proviso.On Tuesday of this week the Vandenbroucke family, 818 South 9th avenue, Maywood, was awaiting word that their son, Sgt. Ray J. Vandenbroucke, had landed at the west coast port. After three and one-half years of little word from him, they received- four cablegrams from Manila. S'Married, Sgt. Vandenbroucke’s wife, Evelyn, resides at 900 South 9th avenue.
