!R. Skiff, Of Gabriels, Enlists In MarinesRoy A. Skiff. IT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Skiff, of Gabriels, has enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for a period of threeyears.He was accepted at the Saranac Lake Post Office, sent to Albanyfor his oath of enlistment and from there was transferred to the Recruit Depot, at Parris Island. S. C., for a 10-week training*period.His three brothers, Charles,Edward and Alfred, are in the U. S. Army.
