Buile Veterans Endorse EctonClub Is Formed to Back NomineeOrganization of an Independent Veterans for Ecton club, dedicated to the support of Zales N. Ecton, Republican nominee for U. S. senator. was completed Tuesday at an enthusiastic meeting of veterans of World Wars I and II.Paul Armstrong, an overseas veteran of the Army who saw active ;-ervice in the Pacific theater during World War II, was elected chairman. Emmett Sullivan, a Pacilic veteran of the Navy, was named vice chairman, and Jack McCaw who saw Pacific duty with the NavyScabecs, was elected secretary.Members of the executive committee are William Tucker, J. Seaman. David Steadman, John McPherson, William Liddicoat, H. F. Fleming and William Lappin.Club headquarters have been established in Room 427 of the Owsley block, and veterans may secure any information or advice about the organization by calling at headquarters,We represent independent veterans of Silver Bow county who feel that Zales Ecton will best represent us in the United States Senate.’' Mr. Armstrong declared. “We feel that as a veteran of World War I, Mr. Ecton will understand our problems and will be an outstanding asset to the veterans and to the public in general as a U.
