ONE THOUSAND INDIANA ' MEN ENTER ARMY GAMPReport at Warsaw Tuesday to Eater the Winona Lake Station.FOR TRUClT DRIVERS(Special to the Kewa.)WARSAW, Ind., Oct lG.—Onc thousand military registrants, representing every county in Indiana, began to arrive ber« early yesterday | to report to the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce for training at the new army training station for motor truek dilver:* at tVinooa Lake, this city. The first contingent arrived ever the Rig Four railroad at ?:38 o’clock in the morning and from then on ©very train over the Big Foar and Pennsylvania railroads brought contingents.The Warsaw Military band of thirty-two pieces met every train and escorted the new soldiers to the camp. The registrants were carried from this city to Winona In special intemrban cars. Herbert Kohler, a veteran of the Spanish-American war, carried a big flag to each train and acted as an escort.Patriotic Warsaw citizens raised money for a fund to buy cigars, which were distributed among the men as they stepped from the trains.
