Luther Anile Not Dead.Misf, Stella Antle, writing to The New*, from Pekin, Illinois, corrects the report that her brother, Luther, was dead. She says:“I am glad to inform you and the good people of Adair county that the statement that Luther Antle is dead is false. He is well and happy, on the battle front in France, as a letter from him, written the 5th day of September says. He has been wounded, but not seriously He was in the hospital one month. He received his wound the 19th day of July. He wrote us before we received the telegram from Washington, D. C~ This telegram came the *9th of September.“True Akers was seen by Luther on the 5th day of September. He was on hi,s way back to his company. He was all O. K.
