As the bright rays of the sun crept over the hill tops, thousands of people were driving from all directions toward Salem. It was Soldiers’ day and they were coming here to welcome the 23rdU. S. Regiment of soldiers, who# are on their return trip to Ft. Benjamin Harrison.
