NORWALK 61 KILLED IN VIETNAM ACTION[ $8Bf*Charles W. Bachman, Jr,NORWALK-Pfc. Charles W. Bachman, Jr., 20, of 74 Dry Hill road, husband of Mrs. Rose Sehroeder Bachman, and father of a one-year-old son, was killed in combat in Vietnam, Oct. 2, it was disclosed by the Department of Defense.He enlisted in the Army in December, 1968 and arrived in Vietnam last July 24, He was attending Central Catholic high school when he enlisted. He was a native of Norwalk.Survivors, in addition to his wife and son, are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bachman, Sr., of Norwalk.Military services will be conducted Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the iColIins funeral home, 92 East 'avenue, and at 10 o’clock in St. ! Joseph's church, with a requiem Mass, Burial will be in SI. John’s cemetery.ii
