Green of Lakeview Apartments, Wynwood rd., Nar-berthi was a student officer in the pilot class graduated from the advanced twin-engine Columbus ArmyFlying School on Oct. 9. He wastransferred at graduation to theArmy Air Forces, receiving the coveted silver wings of a flying officer. |Lieutenant Green entered pilot training on Nov. 15, 1941 at Jackson, Miss., and attended the school at Greenville, Miss., before being transferred to the Columbus AirBase for his final staee of training.
