Dixie Keefer, former commanding ^officer of the MU. S. navy aircraft carriers; Yorktown and Ticonderoga, will speak at the dedicatory banquet at 7 p. m., Oct. 26, in the Ulini Union. He is at present^ commandant of the first navaldistrict (air) and is \stationed at Quonset Point, R.I.Comd. Dixie Keefer, former commanding officer of the U.S. navy aircraft carriers, Yorktown and Ticonderoga, will speak at the dedicatory banquet at 7 p. m., Oct. 26, in the Illini Union. He is at present commandant of the first naval district (air) and is stationedat Quonset Point, R.I.One of the army representatives who will- be present at the dedication ceremonies of the airport will be Brig. Gen. Thomas D. White. General White has served in Canal zone, China, Moscow, Italy, Greece and Brazil. ; ,A native of Minnesota, He attended the U. S.
