ENLISTEEMites Sophie* Loncar Powell of Coldfield, the first Esmeralda county woman to enlist in the nrmod forces, left this morning for Camp Lejeunc, N. C., to begin; her basic training in the marline corps women’s reserve. Pvt. Towel I was employed as astenographer on a liarhor project itn San Perdo. Calif., and formerly worked for the Mac-dnnajjd Engineering Co. at Gabh's. Upon completion of her training she will relieve a marine lor combat duty.
