Hammond. 21, who was killed in action in Korea on July 24, 1953, shortly before the arm is 24. 1953, shortly before the armistice halting the hostiltlties was signed, is due to arrive here today. It will be taken to the Jackson funeral home where friends may call ai:er noon tomorrow.A native of Logans port, he was born Dec. 5. 1931. the sort of Harry and Josephine (Hopper) Hammond. The parents are now residing in Fra nkforfc.He was living at Pittsburg when he entered the armed forces on S Nov. 21, 1952, and had been, in Ko-I ren since April.] Surviving with the parents are three brothers, Jerry Lee and Jack, Frankfort, and Harry Jr., Delphi: three sisters, Donna belle, Joan and Mrs. Mae Bodurnafc, all of Frankfort, and the grandmothers, Mrs. Mary J. Parker and Mrs.Jennie Hammond, both of Logans-port.Military rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Jackson chapel, the Kev. Frank Briggs officiating, frterment will be made in the Masonic cemeterv here.
