CUTUP SECOND IDAHOColonel Edelblutc In Command ol 146th Artillery.The Second Idaho infantry has been broken up and now forms parts of various regiments of the 41st division now in training at Camp Greene, Charlotte, N. C. Colonel W. H. Edelblute of Rath-drum, who has had command of the Idaho regiment for several years, was assigned to the command of the 146th Artillery regiment, immediately upon his arrival at Charlotte. He declared he would hardly have been more surprised l4if a German bomb had been exploded at his feet.”According to reports the Second Idaho headquarters company, band and Companies A, B, and D, were assigned to the 146th artillery, ol which Battery A, New Mexico field artillery forms the nucleus. Companies I, K, and L, and machine gun company under Major Lewis were assigned to a machine gun regiment. Companies E and G, and Major Olson were assigned to a regiment of engineers being formed.Companies, M, C, II and F, under Major Wilkins with : headquarters at Fort Wright, Wash., have just received orders to entrain for Charlotte.
