Uncle Sam’s service, I thought I would write you and let you know of some items, and I would like to have them pnblieed in The Leader, j We have been here two weeks. It is very cold here, but we have good tents and plenty of cover and not so very much to eat.Samuel Clawson sailed today for the Philippine Islands and I think that I, Chas. Davidson, will Bail next Tuesday. We belong to the 37th Regiment, U. S. Vol. Inf. I can't tell yon much about the war this time, but when I get across I will write more.
