Definite acceptance has not been received from Admiral Beatty, however.Besides these distinguished Visitors, and General .Pershing, eight of the twelve Congressional Modal of Honor men of the Thirtieth Division .will also be guests of the Old Hickory association, Four other Medal of Honor men of the division fell on the field of battle.There were but seventy-eight Con-grr: inoiial Medals of Honor awarded during the World War. To win one of them a soldier must be more than a brave and gallant fighter. Conspicuous: bravery in action is rewarded vith tile Distinguished Service Cress, of which there wore 5,000 awarded during tho war.
