REPUBLICAN VOTERS OF CINCINNATI, DO NOT FAIL TO REGISTER TO-DAY.GRAND ARMY DAY.Liife of Uarcb for the Great Parade This Afternoon, **$sThe Sham Battle at the Base Jll ParkPostponed Until To-Nig: it.f!A great disappointment to a good t any hundred people as well as to the hard-working Executive Committee was occasioned last night by an unfortunate occurrence, which necessitated the postponement of the sham battle at the Cincinnati Hase Ball grounds. This was occasioned by the bursting of a llue in one of the tubular boilers, which prevented the lighting up of the park, and no electric light could be furnished in time for the proposed battle. A large crowd had gathered as spectators, the “armies” were all prepared for the terrific struggle, and the music was stationed to render their inspiring strains, when it was discovered that further operations would be impossible- and the seat of war was reluctantly abandoned by soldiers, frieffd and foe, and by those who would have constituted an imposing audience. But the cheering announcement was made that afl things would bA remedied by to-night, when the sham battRe will come off, the participants say, with a briiiiancy that will be augmented by last night's failure.Grand Army Parade. *a-In order that persons desirous of w nessing the Grand Army parade may have som definite idea of its movements, based on inft filiation from one who knows, we state that it will move at 2:30 p.m., pass the corner of Vine andJDourt at 3 o’clock, Court and Central avenue at 3:10, Fourth and Central avenue at 3:23, Fourth and Walnut at 3:33, Fifth and llace at 3:15, reach the tiead of Race street at 4:15, and, countermarching, again reach Twelfth street, w here the parade will be dismissed at 4:35.—Gplonel Ohas.
