Great Bend Army Air Field Has InsigniaGreat Bend—An insignia of a mother falcon accompanying her offspring on a training flight has been adopted as the prize winner In a contest for appropriate emblem for the Great Bend army airfield.The Insignia, selected as best from 26 entries, was designated jointly by Cpls Morris B. White and Carl P, Tromer, of the local air field. White is from Beaumont, Tex,, and Tromer from Rock Island, III. They will split a $25 war bond, put up as prize.
