James Hutchins On U.S.S. WaspJames H. Hutchins ADR-3 is currently serving aboard an aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Wasp in the seas around Norway. He will be on maneuvers until the latter part of December.Hutchins took boot training at San Diego Naval base and was sent to Meridian. Miss., and Memphis. Tenn., for school in jet mechanics. He has been stationed at Quonset Point. R. I., the past year and a half.Hutchins’ wife and son are presently living with her parents in Friendship, Tenn. Hutchins is the son of Mrs. Fred Sepic of Eureka and G. W. Hutchins of Areata.He was graduated from Eureka High school in June 1961, where he was a member of the Varsity E. club participating in football and track. He was also a member of the Art club and president of the Spanish iclub.Hutchins briefly attended Humboldt State college prior to entering the U. S. Naval AirForce.
