MOB HANGS ARAPIST.Shelbyville, Ky., Oct. 2.-111111)0 Pields, aged 1G, and Clarance Garnett, aged 18. both colored, were lynched here early this morning for the alleged murder of Will C. Hart, a printer, who was stoned to death on Saturday night, Sept. 21. ^ The hoys were taken from the jail and swung from the Chesapeake and Ohio trestle, within 500 yards of the jail.The mob went to the jail and demanded the keys from tk© jailor, but lie refused to surrender them. The doors of the jail were then battered down. The prisoners were removed almost before they had time to realize what was happening.
