VIRGII, GISTAFSON REPORTS TO CALIFORNIA BASFVirgil Gustafson, second son of Mr. and \li Fred Gustafson will leave for California, October 8, for his basic framing in the armed services. From there he expects to go on to Seattle, Wash. His wife, the former Kathryn Manna of Ottumwa, will remain with her mother in Ottumwa until her husband is more permanently located The couple had been living in Hock Island, III since their marriage. Gustafson was employed bv the Modern Woodman oi America in the treasury department for lie past five years.A family dinner was given earlier in the week in his honor at the Ed Sharpe home.
