. An interesting ceremony took place on October 3, at Halifax, Nova Scotia. In the war of 1812 Captain M‘Neil, commanding a company of the King’s (Liverpool) Regiment, was killed atthe battle of Little York, where Toronto now stands. Captain♦M‘Neil’s remains were recently discovered, and the officers of the King’s Regiment, now stationed there, had them brought to that city, where they were re-interred with full honours in the military cemetery.
