Ellis G. Cram* It, a 1951 graduate of St. Albans High School, who Is stationed in the Panama Canal Zone.When two soldiers were critical* \y injured in an auto accident last Feb. 19, Lt. Crumit volunteered to air lift them by heli* copter to a hospital 70 miles away.“Despite extremely hazardous conditions of absolute darkness, the citation read, “he successfullycompleted this flight over jungle covered mountains and ocean without the benefit of electronic navigational aids.“HIS STRONG determination, professional competence and ex* ceptional flying skill enabled him to overcome these serious obstacles and maintain a proper flight attitude which resulted in the successful completion of this mission.*’A Korean veteran, Lt.
