Wagaman and James Welch.Contracts for construction arc expected to bo let within two weeks, Plans for improving the field include the construction of ■three hord-sur/aced runways, each15Q feet wide and 9,000 feet long, the erection of 82 barracks, to house 3,800 men, and several administration buildings.The site west of Great Bend was chosen over another site, of similar size, north of the city, after soil surveys of the two sites were taken.
