Leo Dooley' • •and Harry Brown acted as color bearers with Paul Staats and Evan .Rader as color guards and Hubert Cali♦ vRussel Walker, Carrol Moore and another world war boy were the firitfg squad.The tfall bearers were J. L. Lord, Leslie Runyan, Brownie Groves, Herschel Davis, John Holvey and Walter A. Whetsel. Thomas Dowdyacted as bugler. The entire detail(was in charge of Lieut. Mark E. Nebeker.Mr. Provence's body arrived herefSaturday morning, the family having requested that the government bring the remains home from France for burial in the family cemetery. Seven brothers and four sisters survive, he being the oldest of twelve surviving children of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Provence. The mother of these children died last year.The brothers and sisters are: William, John, Joe, Henry, Frank, Leo and Orville Provence, all of Clinton; Mrs. Charles Houser, of Fairview Park; Mrs. Joe Riso, of Kentucky; Mrs. Jennie Starr, of Indianapolis, ind Miss Marie, at home.
