The one was dated August 5th and the other August 8th. We have had pretty warm weather over here this summer but nothing like you people back there have it. The nights over here are beginning to get pretty cool now. That kind of surprised me about that big boy of Wayne’s, f’ll bet he is stepping around pretty high over there. You toid me in one of your other letters, that Clara got those pictures that I sent to her to keep for me. Ithink I told you In one of ray other letters that 1 saw Chester Serene once since I have been over here. I also saw Web Wingard once. I got a letter from Jennie the other day and she told me that she hasn't heard from me since 1 have been over here but i have wrote her several letters. I haven’t had much time to write but vou can tell them all I am O. K. and feeling fine yet. Tell Jennie and Mame both that I got the money they sent me and I thank them very much for It Leo Wanner is still with me yet and several other boys that left with me.
