JAMES NELSONFT. KNOX. Ky. — Army Pvt. James Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Koyce Nelson of Columbia Falls. recently completed training as an armor reconnaissance specialist under the One Station Unit Training (OSUT) Program at Ft. Knox. Ky. .OSUT is a 13-week period which combines basic combat training and advanced individual training.Students received instruction in the use of various kinds of weapons, maintenance* of armor vehicles, map reading, communications, artillery adjustments, and mines and demolitions.Nelson entered the Army in June.
